I have been writing about Green Data Centers so long that when I started no one was committed to be carbon neutral. Now it is so common I don’t even treat it as a news anymore. What did catch my eye is Bloomberg choosing to release a video in response to Trump pulling out of the Paris Accord. Many think of the edge locations as an obvious move to improve the performance of services that benefit from low latency like cellular networks with edge data centers. The cellular site and its role in the overall system is complex and hard for most to understand how it works. When you look at this diagram there are many that assume that the complex network is bypassed by putting content on the edge.
